Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
The short version: DegreePath runs entirely in your browser. We don't have accounts, we don't have a database of your academic records, and your courses, grades, and GPA are never sent to any server.
What we don't collect
- No academic data. Your major, courses, grades, GPA, AP scores, and transfer credits are processed locally in your browser and stored only in your browser's local storage on your own device.
- No accounts. DegreePath does not require registration, so we hold no usernames, passwords, or profiles.
- No selling of data. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties.
What we may collect
- Email (optional). If you join the university waitlist, we store the email address you submit and use it only to notify you about DegreePath availability. You can request removal at any time.
- Basic hosting logs. Our hosting provider may log standard technical information such as IP address and browser type to serve and secure the site.
Third-party services
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive standard web requests (such as your IP address) when the font files load. No academic data is ever included in these requests.
Your data, your control
Because your plan lives in your browser's local storage, you can erase it at any time by clearing your browser data for this site. Nothing persists on our side.
Changes to this policy
If we change how DegreePath handles data, we will update this page and the date above.
